Nik Dandelion
¡ALIGN!
Sometimes the most extraordinary works of art arise from the most unexpected encounters—and so begins the story of Nik Dandelion's new work, "¡ALiGN!". It all started with a mysterious discovery: a dusty cassette recorder (actually the one also used by Mk.gee🤯), hidden under a pile of old second-hand clothes in a side alley. What might have been trash to others became, for Nik, a gateway to another world. As if guided by an invisible force, he recorded five songs over the following days—each infused with a mysterious atmosphere that dissolves the boundaries between reality and poetry.
The focus track “CiRCLES” expands the analogue, lofi sound of the EP - a classical guitar recorded through an old telephone, recorded with open windows on a hot summer day so you can hear birds chirping in the background, it feels like a distant, mystical memory of summer.

Nik Dandelion's world is a kaleidoscope of decades, destinations, and postmodern dreams. Drawing mostly from retro sounds and aesthetics, he breaks the nostalgia up into digital fragments, to create his unique DIY sound. Do-It-Yourself or Undo-It-Yourself: his audiovisual universe is no shrine to nostalgia, but rather an irreverent and irresistible response to heavy times. Each song is as bright, flighty and contagious as a Dandelion Seed.
