Bulgarian Cartrader is performing his new single ‘Golden Rope’ in headlock by the ultimate bully.
5th grade, some schoolyard in Sofia, Bulgaria: a group of school kids circling around the event that inspired the new BCT music video. The young BCT had to spend 10 minutes in the headlock of a much stronger kid, giving him his first real taste of absurdity. The same taste he had many years later writing this song about feeling abandoned by all seven lucky gods...
Golden Rope is BCTs second single, after KCRW praised debut ‘No other Drug’ aired in December. Both tracks are taken from his debut album ‘Motor Songs’ which he produced on his own in his Berlin studio, mixed in London with Stephen Sedgwick (Gorillaz, Benjamin Clementine…).
After having performed ‘Golden Rope’ live in his old Mercedes for the prestigious L.A. based School Night showcase, the track already got picked up by US radio station KCRW way before it’s official release on March 11th.

Bulgarian Cartrader is the moniker of sofia born singer and producer daniel stoyanov. driven by his passion for sounds, melodies and old cars + a phone in his pocket that hasnt´t rung for three years + a vision of waving the Bulgarian flag on every big festival around the world, he wrote, performed and produced an album all by himself in his studio in berlin. Now he has a hunger for the crowd, eager to sweat his ass off in that sheepskin coat that his granduncle Ivan gave him as a magical gift.
